Veterans Day with Mountain View College

Dear Veterans Community,

Each year Mountain View College hosts a Veterans Day Ceremony to thank our nation’s Veterans. This event is honored by providing a Breakfast for our Veterans followed by a Pinning Ceremony. This year our guest speaker will be Dana BowmanHero Soldier, Golden Knight, and Motivational Speaker.  Dana Bowman will be speaking about his life changing accident that transformed his life in an amazing way (please see video below).

We would like to extend you the option of having a table at this event free of charge or simply to join us, as your presence would be greatly appreciated.  If you plan to be a Vendor at this event, you can come as early as 7:30 a.m. to set up your station; you are also more than welcome to bring a guest.  We would also appreciate if you can let your organization know, as well as the veterans’ community about this event, as all are welcome to this event.

This ceremony will be on November 10, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Mountain View College.  We are located at 4849 West Illinois Avenue in Dallas, Texas.  This event will be held in our student service building, Building “S”.   Vendors will set up down stairs in our “S” Building near our book store.  This Pinning Ceremony will take place in our students’ court yard. We sincerely hope you will be able to attend.

“Now Playing”

The Veterans Suicide Prevention Channel (VSPChannel) will be sharing shows that are currently playing on our online channel until after “VETERANS DAY” November 11, 2016. Our channel will also provide special reports on the “DONATE $22 TODAY NATIONAL CAMPAIGN” which has began raising funds to build a state of the art television production/broadcast studio for America’s veterans and their family members.

Remember the VSPChannel has been founded to create, produce and broadcast shows and programs that promote good mental, emotional and physical wellness to America’s veterans and to provide vital information to them and their family members on matters important to veterans.

Don’t forget! DONATE $22 TODAY!

We are also currently raising funds to produce our NEW cooking show,

This show stars two veteran chefs Andre Rush, who currently prepares nutritious meals for White House residents and staff, and Charles F. Johnson a fantastic chef who has taught Cooking for the cooks in the US Army while serving our nation as a soldier.

This show will teach veterans and their family members how to prepare wholesome nutritious natural foods and utilize spices to help heal mental illness such as PTSD, stress and anxiety and to promote healing of physical conditions such as
high blood pressure and diabetes.
